Is Paranormal Activity (the movie) real or based on a true story?

I recently watched the movie “Paranormal Activity”. As we were leaving the movie theater, many people were asking the question “is it real?” or “is it based on a true story?”
To me, it was fairly obvious that it wasn’t real. But I kept telling the others in my group….”well i’m not sure”…”maybe”…..just to play along :)
I thought to myself, “if it was real, don’t you think the video would’ve spready like crazy on the Internet by now?”

The answer is NO, it is not real! In case of any doubt…there’s even a website dedicated to this answer.

Got this from TechCrunch: “Yeah, what is a browser?”

You might have recently seen the following video, in which Google employees went around the streets of New York, interviewing random people. Kind of like the weekly segment called “JayWalking’ on Jay Leno’s show. Here it is:

I find it amazing how non-tech-savvy the average person is!

To help the average non-geek, “Google has put together what can only be described as an extremely dumbed-down one minute video (below) and rudimentary website to attempt to explain to everyone once again exactly what a web browser is.” (Techcrunch) Be aware that there is definitely a biased towards Google’s Chrome in the video “What is a Browser?” .

This demographic might be the same as the ones keeping geeksquad in business at Bestbuy :)

Some of you have recently seen the video titled “Muslim Demographics”, which claims that Europe will soon be dominated by a growing Muslim population. Here it is:
Spread the Gospel Video: Muslim Demographics

As of this writing, that video has been seen over 10,000,000+ (10 million) times! The video presents lots of stats as facts…but it’s interesting that the commenting feature on the video has been disabled. No one is able to write their comments or give any feedback, or refute any of those statistics.

BBC has a video titled “Muslim Demographics: The Truth”, where it questions the accuracy of the original video. Here it is:
