As my first blog post, I want to just talk about some of the reasons why I’m starting a personal blog.

1) I’m starting a new chapter in my life, and I want to kind of document some of my thoughts and experiences. I never used to call myself an “entrepreneur”, but now that I’m officially a CEO and running a start-up…I guess I can now call myself that. I’ve always been interested in reading other entrepreneurs’ stories and advice…and I figured who knows…maybe someone out there could be interested in hearing mine.

2) I wanted a place where I can upload pics…especially for family. i’ll have separate sections for my 2 sides of the family and anytime anyone in the family wants to see their pics…they can just log-on to this site. i’ll also try to make it so other family members can upload their pics as well.

3) I wanted to get more familiar with WordPress.

Some of my thoughts as I start this:

- I don’t want this blog to feel like a chore. So I’m not making any guarantees how often I’ll be updating it.

- I’m not going to worry to much about my grammar or spelling. I’ll just write whatever thoughts are in my head at that given time.

- I won’t do any advertising…only word-of-mouth. I want to see how popular this gets through word-of-mouth alone. the only way people will find out about my site is through links I post on facebook (for recent photo uploads), by search engine organic search, and people telling people.
